By the time she was ten years old, Cherry was preparing most of the meals for her family. Before she knew it, she was doing her MBA in St. Louis, Missouri, and wowing her American friends with her classic Thai cooking - always experimenting with new recipes and tinkering with old ones. Now, back in Thailand and happily married with an eight year-old daughter, Cherry splits her time between her beloved family and her freelance work in Bangkok’s vibrant advertising industry. Join Cherry for a meal in her central Bangkok apartment, decorated in Cherry's fun and eclectic style, for a meal that might include meal may include favorites such pineapple fried rice, tom kaa gai, a delicious chicken soup simmered in coconut milk, or tangy yum wun sen, a glass noodle salad with shrimp in a lime sauce. Your meal will end with mango sticky rice procured from Cherry's favorite vendor in the city. If you book a cooking experience, you will join Cherry for a hands-on cooking lesson and learn to prepare a traditional Thai meal. The cooking lesson lasts approximately two hours. Cherry also offers and optional market tour add-on; Cherry will take you to the Thong Lor market closer to her home, and then you will visit Mae Varee, one of Bangkok's most popular mango sticky rice stalls, where Cherry will purchase your classic Thai dessert to enjoy after your meal.
